Eating Healthy Without Losing Your Sanity

Eating Healthy Without Losing Your Sanity by Mar Cordovez

Let us be real, when people say “healthy eating,” most of us picture sad salads and tasteless tofu. But it does not have to be that way. Eating healthy can still mean eating foods that fill you up, fuel your body, and actually taste good.

My go to? Lean chicken breast. It is like the Swiss Army knife of clean eating, low in fat, high in protein, and you can season it a hundred different ways. Grilled with some lemon and herbs? Fantastic. Tossed into a stir fry or shredded into tacos? So good. No disrespect to quinoa or kale, but chicken just hits different.

Aside from chicken, other solid healthy choices include:

  • Veggies with crunch like bell peppers, carrots, or broccoli
  • Complex carbs like sweet potatoes, brown rice, or oats
  • Protein-packed options like eggs, tofu, beans
  • Good fats like avocados, nuts, olive oil

The trick is making your plate colorful and balanced. You are not chasing perfection, you’re building habits. And yes, there is still room for a cookie now and then. (We don’t judge here)

If you treat healthy eating like a long-term lifestyle and not some short-term punishment, you will feel stronger, think clearer, and bounce back faster. And starting with lean chicken breast? That is a tasty first step.
