Sleep Is Your Secret Weapon at Work

A lot of people think working more and sleeping less makes you more successful. But the truth is, without good sleep, your brain just does not work right. If you want to be sharp, make smart decisions, and keep your cool under pressure, you have got to rest.
When you sleep well, you think clearer, solve problems faster, and stay focused longer. If you skip sleep, you’re more likely to make mistakes and feel drained all day. For jobs that need physical strength or attention to detail like me in the military and also in healthcare, that can be risky.
Sleep helps your body recharge so you can be your best. It is not a waste of time but a fuel your brain and body need to perform at full power. So instead of bragging about how little sleep you get, start taking pride in getting real rest. It makes you better at everything you do.
